studio lighting
Corner composition captured in studio light. Using strategies of embedding pieces of glass within a foam core corner, while also using balance and layering.
I can easily move around this piece with the embedded pieces of glass staying in place.
Focus stacked.
One of the first corner pieces I began constructing. There are moments in this composition that I really like, but as an entire composition I feel like this could be separated into four or five different photographs focussing on the subtle nuances of the textures, colours, and layering in the glass. I almost want to use a macro lens...which is something my 120mm analogue camera has. And maybe, when using a macro, not everything needs to be intensely focussed. My images are often softer, more ethereal, and incorporate intuition and chance.
