Personally I really think sunlight is the best lighting to capture the subtle nuances and language of the glass because it illuminates the hand blown bubbles and natural imperfections in the glass. It also illuminates the layers more effectively than studio lighting.

The sunlight almost creates a signature of the glass while it passes through and reflects its trace shadow on the surface of the foam core, I almost need a lipstick camera to get deep down inside that mirrored yellow latent image space to experience it all.
