Comparing this cropped view with the previous example, this image has less dimension than the previous example captured in pure sunlight.
Personally I really think sunlight is the best lighting to capture the subtle nuances and language of the glass because it illuminates the hand blown bubbles and natural imperfections in the glass. It also illuminates the layers more effectively than studio lighting.
